A draw version of the head was introduced to help promote a right-to-left ball flight thanks to weighting placed closer to the heelA larger face was designed on the Ping G15 to provide consistency across the entire hitting surface. This was combined with a new high balance point shaft to offer higher ball speeds and increased MOI.

Hi I was just wondering if anybody has played both drivers. The G5 is going real cheap right now and was wondering if the G10 is worth the extra $$$$ any help would be appreciated. Is there really that much of a difference between the two.I have tried a few of the various pings in the 'G' line over the last several years and all are 460cc and all are very good, with mostly the shaft choice being the big kicker.I would look at it this way.the G2 (i think it was called that?) got good reviews and forgiveness and decent length comments and as each new model came out.i.e. G5.then g10.now g15.i keep hearing how if you own the previous model the new one is not revolutionary and no real need to upgrade.now you have to judge.if they said that about the g5 over the previous model and the same comments each time.that makes the improvements small in each generation, but obviously going from a couple models ago to one of the newer ones might make a bigger jump in performance i.e.
Go from a g2 to a g10.Hope this helps i have read so many good things and my experience was each was the same for me, forgiving, nice look at address, but just avg distance.I will say looks wise and for impact feel the g10 was like smashing glass and very pleasant.but the distance was only 225-235 or so and much the same as all pings and most drivers i owned. My TM burner is hotter and so was the older burner i just sold.so.here is a good site with links to real user comments and click on each model.
