Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu is a popular series of baseball games developed by Konami, which first appeared on the SNES back in 1994. But despite its popularity, it hasn’t had a single entry on Nintendo 3DS, but it’s going to change pretty soon!

Today, during a livestream, Konami announced Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Heroes, which will be released on Nintendo 3DS. This will be the very first Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu game to appear on a Nintendo platform since Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2009 on the Wii.
Very little is known about the game, but Tanibuchi Hiroshi (Executive Producer of the Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu series) explained that the game would be easy to play. We don’t know when it will be released exactly, but Konami specified it would be during Winter 2016 (before the end of the year, then).
